How to Join KBTC

Any member of the public may apply for membership. KBTC is proud to have a broad and diverse membership. If you wish to join, send a completed membership form to the club secretary (see address below). The club secretary will contact you to arrange your membership. There are various types of memberships on offer, which are listed here with the current fees (updated March 2024).

There is a development levy for new members joining of €300 (or €150 over 2 years).  This levy is for adult memberships only (fee-paying and life members), not for students or juniors aged 8 to 18.

Family membership is for two full members* and their children aged up to 18 years of age (or 23 years if in full-time education). Levy applies to new family memberships.€265

Junior single membership is for children who must be a minimum of 8 years of age on the 1st of January of the year in which they apply, and must transfer to single adult membership on reaching 18 years of age (or 23 years if in full-time education).€65
Third-level student membership provides for students in full-time education who are not more than 23 years of age.€95
Tourist/Country membership is for those visiting the area that would like to play at the club. They do not have voting rights at AGMs or EGMs and cannot enter competitions. Country members must not live within a 70km radius of the club. Levy applies to new tourist memberships.€95 for single and

Lifetime membership (advance-paid special membership offered by KBTC from time to time) consists of two full members* and their children aged up to 18 years of age (or 23 years if in full-time education).No yearly fee
Honorary life membership is designated on the basis of exceptional service to the club and conferred at a quorate AGM by a majority of the members who are present. Honorary life members are full members* of KBTC.No fee
Note: membership this year can only be paid through: ItsPlainSailing.

* Annual membership fee includes the affiliation fee to Tennis Ireland of €35 for a family, €14 for a single member, €8 for student or junior members.

** Full Members are fully paid-up adults (over 18 years) with voting rights in KBTC.

You access the clubhouse by entering the PIN into the keypad outside the door. This PIN will be provided with membership.
