The fun of our Open is fading from view and it’s time to look forward to a new season with the Bowe Dental KBTC’s Winter League, our 17th in this format.
What’s new: Results will be tracked using Tennis Ireland (TI) tournament software. This means that all players will need to sign up for Tennis Ireland so they can build their World Tennis Number (WTN). Teams will be built guided by WTN. What’s not: This is a team event (doubles) that runs in a league format over six months. Matches will be scheduled. Teams will have matches fortnightly on Sundays (6pm), Tuesdays (7:30pm & 9pm), Thursdays (7:30pm & 9pm), or Fridays (7:30pm only). Both outdoor and covered courts will be used.
There is a limit of 128 players. First come – First served. Beginners are encouraged to sign up. You will be asked for days/times when you are unavailable. You can indicate a maximum of three days/times when you are unavailable.
STARTING: SUNDAY, 11 OCTOBER 2025
FINALS: Friday, 5 March 2026

There will be two breaks:

Subbing is allowed though discouraged.
Can’t commit, there is an option to sign up as a sub. Names will be placed on the Winter League list and may be contacted by a team in cases where a player is unavailable for a scheduled match.
