General Information about Junior Coaching

Junior coaching caters for ages 6-18 years and the terms are usually spring, summer and autumn and can range from 6-8 weeks in duration.  Juniors are put into groups of 8 (usually) and the groups are matched by age and ability.

The benefits of playing the game from childhood are immense both from a physical and psychological aspect, providing skills that can be taken with them through life. Our coaching programme focuses on introducing the game to children in a positive and technically sound manner.

The coaching programme covers every aspect of the game, primarily technical, tactical and physical. We will work on your child’s agility, balance, co-ordination and speed and build a sound foundation on which to build the complete game.
